There are many resources available to help seniors and their caregivers in Missouri, the Kansas City region, and beyond. We hope these resources will be helpful to you.

PACE Programs

PACE stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Here are some of the other PACE programs in our region.

Midland PACE

Midland Care's PACE program serves seniors in several Kansas counties, including Wyandotte, Leavenworth, and Johnson counties in the KC metro area.

Jordan Valley PACE

The Jordan Valley PACE program serves seniors in Springfield, MO.

Evertrue PACE

Evertrue PACE serves seniors in St. Louis City and County, Jefferson County, St. Charles County, and Warren County in Missouri.

Other Resources

KC Shepherd's Center

KC Shepherd's Center's model of frequent in-home visits provides holistic care that meets nutritional needs, combats social isolation, addresses health and safety concerns and provides caregiver respite. Our programs are primarily volunteer-led and provide peer-to-peer support at little to no cost to our clients and are core to our mission of engaged and purposeful aging.

Landon Center on Aging

The Theo and Alfred M. Landon Center on Aging includes a Geriatric Medicine Clinic providing both primary care and consultative services, and facilities for researchers to study important aging-related issues such as prevention and treatment of disability, patterns of healthcare delivery and cognitive function.

Mid-America Regional Council Aging and Adult Services

When older adults need help in Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties, the Mid-America Regional Council's Aging and Adult Services program is the first call. The program coordinates and delivers community-based services that link older adults to local, public, private, voluntary and corporate resources.

Missouri Dept. of Social Services

The Missouri Department of Social Services is responsible for coordinating programs to provide public assistance to help Missourians with food stamps, health care, child care, child support, blind services, and other basic needs and healthcare coverage for eligible Missourians.

Sandwiched KC

In Kansas City and caring for a loved one? We can help! Sandwiched KC is a 501c3 nonprofit helping family caregivers in the Kansas City metro area by providing FREE information and referral, support groups, education, and self-care activities. Our mission is to create opportunities for family caregivers to find local support and shared wisdom.

United Way 211

Dedicated staff at United Way of Greater Kansas City (UWGKC) 211 maintain a comprehensive database of thousands of local and national community resources. You can find information on services for food, clothing, and shelter, as well as for more complex needs like health care, mental health, education, and employment. Contacting 211 is free and confidential. Language interpretation is available.
