Urgent Care Services - PACE KC

Health issues can arise at any time—and not every situation calls for a trip to the emergency room. That’s why PACE KC offers responsive, around-the-clock urgent care support for non-life-threatening health concerns. Our team is available 24/7 to help you manage urgent medical needs quickly, safely, and with compassion.

Whether you're at home, traveling, or visiting family, you can count on us to assess the situation and guide you to the right care. We’ll even authorize coverage for urgent care services outside our usual service area when needed.

What qualifies as urgent care?

Urgent care addresses medical issues that need timely attention but are not immediately life-threatening. These conditions can often be treated without a hospital visit and may include:

Common Urgent Care needs

  • Fever or flu-like symptoms

  • Abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting

  • Painful or difficult urination

  • Minor infections

  • Falls without serious injury

  • Allergic reactions without trouble breathing

  • Rashes or skin concerns

If you experience severe chest pain, symptoms of stroke, major trauma, or severe shortness of breath, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

24/7 access to trusted support

PACE KC participants have access to urgent care support at any time—day or night. When you call, you’ll speak with a trained member of our team who understands your health history and can make informed decisions about your care.

Our focus is always on providing the right care at the right time, while avoiding unnecessary hospital visits when possible.
